• A Copy of the Yacht’s Measurement Certificate. (Enclose with Entry Form)
• US Sailors need to provide US SAILING No.

I agree to be bound by The Racing Rules of Sailing and by all other rules that govern this event. I confirm that I will have third party insurance in place for the duration of the event, the sum of which is my entire and sole responsibility to ensure that it is adequate.

WAIVER & LIABILITY RELEASE


I * (Print Skipper or Owner’s Name of the Boat if different) hereby agree to all of the Conditions for the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship at Ocean Reef Club and shall inform each member of my crew of these Conditions. I hereby warrant that my
boat will be outfitted, equipped, and handled in accordance with these Conditions; that she will have all of the required equipment aboard; that she is seaworthy in hull, rig and gear; that she will be competently manned.

The Ocean Reef Club, the International and United States Melges 24 Class Associations, the Melges 24 2005 Worlds LLC, and all Sponsors, Suppliers and Partners of ORC and the Class organizations, their officers, directors, members, committee personnel, volunteers, employees and agents are in no way to be held responsible for accidents, damage or injury to property or to yachts, crew or guests arising from any cause during or related to any activities of the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship. Weather and sea conditions must be evaluated by each Skipper/Owner and their crew and each participant is responsible for determining whether it is safe for him or her to participate. The responsibility of wearing a personal flotation device (PFD) rests upon the Skipper/Owner to comply with Class Rules. If assistance is provided by committee vessels and/or personnel, it is at the risk of the participants.

I accept full responsibility for the conduct of each member of my crew and guests during the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship. I acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for the safety of my crew and boat.

I agree to be bound by the current rules of The Racing Rules of Sailing, the Notice of Race, the Sailing Instructions, and by all other rules that govern this event. Special attention is drawn to Part 1 – Fundamental Rules of The Racing Rules of Sailing.

In consideration of your accepting my entry for the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship, I do for myself, my executors, my administrators and assigns waive and release any and all claims that I have against ORC, the International and US Melges 24 Class organizations, the Melges 24
2005 Worlds LLC and all Sponsors, Suppliers and Partners of the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship, their officers, directors, members, committee personnel, volunteers, employees and agents, or any one or more of them or their executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, or assigns, including any or all claims for damage caused by the negligence of any of them arising out of my participation or that of my boat in the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship and its related activities, including pre-start and post- finish operations and shore activities together with any costs and expenses including attorney's fees that may be incurred as a result of any such claim whether valid or not.
